I was recently listening to a sermon by Joshua Harris on 1 Corinthians 1:18-25. In this particular sermon Harris quotes H. Reinhold Neibuhr when he wrote:
“A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross.”
