Monday’s Ministry Musing: Witnessing on the Clock

This one is simple.  Should a Christian witness to his co-worker while on company time?  Is it ethical to share the gospel when you should be working?  I am not certain what I believe.  What do you think?

UPDATE: When I say “witnessing” I mean verbally sharing the gospel facts.  Of course it is always right and ethical to share the gospel with your actions.

  1. It depends on the job situation and how deeply you go into the subject. Just because you’re on the clock doesn’t mean you quit talking about Jesus. But if you’re being paid by the hour, it’s not ethical to take a long time (how long, again depends on the situation) leading someone through the Scriptures.
