I apologize that this is so late. With moving the blog from Blogger to WordPress things have gotten a little wacky. Here is day twenty two.
Day Twenty-Two: That Christ would heal her wounds
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
Christ is the Great Healer. He indeed heals up the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Men, our wives are likely wounded. They carry with them wounds from the past; some emotional, some physical, other mental or spiritual. Christ is redeeming this brokenness. Whatever wounds your wife is carrying, pray today that Jesus would give her healing. No wounds is too deep for Christ to fill up with His goodness and mercy.
Father, I am grateful that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. Lord, I know that my wife has wounds. And I know that praying for her healing might mean that you have to reopen the wounds to really give her redemption in these areas. Heal the places in her heart that are broken. Bind up her wounds. Overwhelm her with your grace and mercy. Where there were once ashes replace them with your beauty. I look forward to dancing with her in your new heaven. Amen.
Done.
Done, thanks Mike!
