Pray For Your Husband: 31 Day Challenge–Day Three

Day Three: That he might find his greatest joy in God’s glory

“I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” – Isaiah 43:6-7

God’s message through Isaiah to His people tells us why we were formed and made–for His glory. Let us pray for our husbands today that they might find their greatest joy in fulfilling the purpose for which they were created, enabled by saving work of Christ.

Father, you created my husband for a singular purpose–the one thing for which you designed him, and the one thing that will truly bring him joy. May your Holy Spirit work in His heart to show Him your glory in the face of Jesus Christ through your Word, causing Him to find in You His greatest joy. May all his aims and ambitions be directed toward your own glory, and may he rejoice and be made glad in this. Amen.
