Have you ever had something that you just had to have? For me it was Christmas 1993 and I had to have a Sony Discman. Eventually it landed in the dump like all of my other one things.
Haman had his own one thing and it eventually destroyed him. His problem wasn’t singled-minded devotion. It was the object of his singled-minded devotion.
This isn’t a typical three-point sermon. Here I just try to tell the story in Esther 5 and use Haman’s one thing to point us to the only One that is worth all of our affection.
