Other Predictions:
- Last year I picked the Cardinals and they didn’t make it, I’m hoping I sufficiently jinx them again.
- I’m also not shocked if the Royals finish in fourth because of injuries. The White Sox look solid on paper again but I don’t know if their rotation and pen is quite good enough.
- The Tigers will be decimated with injuries and the fact that they are from Detroit.
- That Brewers pick is crazy but I had Taco Bell today and I’m feeling saucy.
- The Twins, A’s, Phillies, and Diamondbacks could be surprises
- The Cubs, Mets, Blue Jays, and Indians won’t be as good as advertised.
Here are some crazy picks:
- The Rangers win 100 games
- A Royals player hits over 30 homeruns and his name isn’t Kendrys
- Robin Ventura gets fired before the season is over
- Prince Fielder chases Roger Maris’ single-season home run record (‘cause the others just don’t count).
- Zack Greinke has double digit losses as does Madison Bumgarner
- 22 wins and a 1.70 ERA for Chris Sale
- Mike Trout bats .130 and gets sent back to the Minors (okay this is just wishful thinking)
- ROY in the AL is Raymond Fuentes
- 100 SB’s for Billy Burns
- A-Rod doesn’t make it to 2017

Wait. You have the Giants beating the Cards for the NLCS yet you have the Cards winning the WS? Did I miss something?
Typo. Thanks!
You’re welcome. Although the Giants WILL win. 🙂
Mike, How do you figure Milwaukee winning the NL Central? They will probably wind up on the bottom. They are one of the lowest paid teams in the Majors. BUT, you did call the World Series right. Cardinals all the way!!!!!!
I think Milwaukee is going to be a surprise team this year. Just call it a hunch….but I’m no prophet so they will likely remain in the cellar. And I’m picking the Cardinals simply to jinx them.
Hey, we don’t believe in no stinking jinxes. I bleed Cardinal Red !!
How many years do the Red Sox have to keep finishing last (3 of last 4 years) before people stop picking them to win?
